Outi Marin, BSc. Forestry, has worked within the full value chain of wood fibre, from sustainable forest management to sustainable paper-based packaging sourcing. She has a wide experience in forest sector from positions in private and public areas.

Outi joined Smurfit Kappa in 2014 and currently leads the Group’s sustainability reporting team. Before joining Smurfit Kappa, Outi has worked for and Metsä Group and supported the UN Economic Forum for Europe and the Ministry of Employment and Economy in Finland.

Outi's work has always included wide collaboration with different stakeholders. In this role, she currently represents Smurfit Kappa in the Cepi Environment and Safety Committee and chairs its Environmental Footprint Issue Group and in FEFCO Regulatory Affairs Committee.
